Dial *#06#. If an EID number appears in the list, your phone has eSIM hardware. Also make sure it's carrier-unlocked — a locked phone rejects other providers' eSIMs.

Worth knowing before you buy

Xiaomi enables eSIM per market, not per model: the global and EU versions of the models above have it, while the same phone sold in China or India usually doesn't.
