Two simple habits help. First, give each eSIM a name you'll recognize when you install it — your phone lets you label it (like "Japan trip") so you can always tell your eSIMs apart. Second, before adding a new eSIM, clear out any that have expired or that you've finished with — just double-check it's an old one. If you delete one by mistake, you can usually reinstall it on the same phone by tapping its original install link or re-scanning its QR code, as long as the plan is still valid, active and has data left — but an eSIM can't be moved to a different phone.
