Check your exact phone in 30 seconds

Dial *#06#. If an EID number appears in the list, your phone has eSIM hardware. Also make sure it's carrier-unlocked — a locked phone rejects other providers' eSIMs.

Worth knowing before you buy

Some US and Korean carrier units of the S20/S21 generation shipped with eSIM switched off in software — look for an 'Add eSIM' option under Settings → Connections → SIM manager.
Samsung's FE and A-series support differs by market — same model name, different hardware. Run the EID check on your exact unit before buying.
