Dial *#06#. If an EID number appears in the list, your phone has eSIM hardware. Also make sure it's carrier-unlocked — a locked phone rejects other providers' eSIMs.

Worth knowing before you buy

Newer Huawei flagships (P50 and later) dropped eSIM — only the P40 generation and Mate 40 Pro have it.
Huawei phones without Google services still work with Lumbus: the eSIM installs from the QR code in your email — no app needed.
