Check your exact phone in 30 seconds

Dial *#06#. If an EID number appears in the list, your phone has eSIM hardware. Also make sure it's carrier-unlocked — a locked phone rejects other providers' eSIMs.

Worth knowing before you buy

  • US iPhone 14 and later have no physical SIM tray at all — they are eSIM-only, so a travel eSIM is the only option there.
  • iPhone 13 and later can keep two eSIMs active at once — your home line stays reachable while the travel eSIM handles data.
  • The phone must be carrier-unlocked: a locked iPhone blocks eSIMs from other providers regardless of model.
